that it was a common occurrence
for themselves to use the men in that way,
and I didn't pay any attention to it.

was a common occurrence for them to
carry them in in that forcible way
and injure them? Was not that what
you said to me? A. Yes, that is what
I mean.

Q. Have you any knowledge of how long that
man staid [stayed] in the lodge room before he
went out? A. I dont know. After he got up
on to his feet I left the room and left them
standing there with him, and I went
about my work.
