Whereas at a district Court of the United States of America [last two words crossed out]~ begun and held at Portland, within and for the district of Maine on the first Tuesday of June Instant T.B. late Resident at Bristol in the Kingdom
of G. Britain [last three words superscript] Mariner was Convicted of piratically feloniously Wilfully + of his malice
[illegible] [? abbreviation for "aforethought] Killing and murdering of a one J.C. on the high seas [last four words superscript]~ and H.H. late of Norway in the Kingdom of Norway was also convicted of knowingly and wilfully aiding and abeting the said T.B. in piratically killing + murdering the    
[?] illegible J.C. they were thereupon Sentenced to be [illegible crossed out] hung by the neck until they[crossed out] he [superscript] was dead on Monday [crossed out] Friday {superecript] the 25th. day of June ~ instant at the usual place of Ex [execution] We command you therefore that [several words crossed out and illegible] As by the Record of the same court appear. We command you therefore that upon Monday [crossed out] Friday [superscript] the 25 day of June [illegible] you convey the said T.B. + H.H. [last three letters crossed out] from the Gaol in Portland where they are {illegible] and that you [illegible] Execution to be done upon the [?] T.B. + H.H. in your in all things and [?] to the Judgement [?] and of this Writ with your doing thence you are to make return into our district of Maine to be at Portland on the first Tuesday of September [] []

under which mortally wound the said John Conner was languishing near the last stages of Life the said T.B. the body of him said Conner did cast into the ~ sea. By reason whereof the said John Conner then + there instantly died _____ and to the [?] afore.
