temperature too low for the health and comfort of the
patients, so that you would have another engineer
employed, to raise the temperature by night.
Ans. I cannot think it would be so in the sleeping rooms
of the patients. If it was as high as that in the
sleeping rooms, I think it would be ample.
Ques. Would you regard a temperature of 5 degrees
below that as a bit too low. Ans. For insane
people that do not keep covered.
Ques. The lodges are heated all night long without
a night engineer. Ans. That is what I am told.
Ques. Whether for the ordinary patient sleeping in his
bed, amply covered and clothed, if the temperature
ran down to 55 in the night time, you would
regard it as too low for health, so that you would 
have to employ another engineer by night.
Ans. I think it would not be warm enough at 55.
Ques. If it run from 62 to 70, as the record shows,
would you consider that ample. Ans. Yes sir.
Ques. Do you think of any way of avoiding putting
a patient who will not keep any clothing on, into 
the lodges without clothing, other than the strap
system, and that form of treatment would like to devise
some method. The only thing I have thought of it
