  enlisted in the 17th Me.

John O. Winship Co. A. Me 5th holds a did-
  charge dated July 29th' 61 for bron-
  chitis, on recommendation of the Surg.

  I saw him on his return. I have seen
  him often since.  He appears altogether 
  capable to be in the Service.  Is off fishing
  now.  I shall order him to Augusta as
  soon as I can see him.
