Yours of the 6th was recd yesterday + I have not yet ascertained what [?] the moment you can get for the land -- nor whether any thanks to my [?] than I mentioned, but will do it soon -- One person who has bought other land adjoining [something stricken] for 50 cents per acre, on long credit, would buy yours also if he could have it at the same price, but would not be willing to give much if any more -- Another I think will give 75 cents but whether any more is yet uncertain - perhaps if he does that + pays the taxes for this year it will be as much as he will do -- There is no money here now, + I think that next June as soon as any here will be able to make any payments --
