I William Holt of Harriman in the County of Penobscot Yeoman do hereby testify & say that in the summer of 1779, according to my recollection, I shipped on board the ship called the [?] of 18 Guns. Capt Barr of Salem; I took this ship to serve here in the Public Service as I went for wages & Received no Pacy's = money: I shipped for three months; But was gone three & one half months: In June 1780 according to my recollection, I inlisted into the Revolutionary War for six months in Capt Whipples Company Col Tuppers Regt Pattersons Brigade: I joined my Regt at West Parish: and we were [?] in the Jerseys near to the White Plains: We went into Winter quarters at Fort Jackman on the North [?]; at which place I received a regular discharge ; Which discharge I have since lost: I am now under reduced circumstances & need the assistance of my Country for support: I humbly relinquish all claim to any pensions on account of  my said [?]
