In reply to your communication of December 28th referring to telephone conversation regarding transportation for Drs. Bell, Brown and Nichols from Farmington to Halifax, beg to state that upon arri- val at Portland these doctors received a wire that their services were not needed and so returned to Farmington. I am very sorry this information was not given you to have saved this trouble.
Thanking you very much for your kindness, not only in this instance, but in all matters pertaining to the Halifax matters, I am,
