� 143 Castine Aug 9th 1862 Dr Sir Charles Perkins of Co. B. Second Me Reg claim to be absent by reason of Discharge. Discharge papers are in Bangor: Says he was discharged in Oct. 1861. by reason of Surgeons Certificate and that his papers are dated Fort Corcoran Oct 1861. Signed by Col Roberts (Health poor) John Lewis Co (B) Me Reg. claims to be absent by reason of Discharge. Discharge papers in Bangor has received pension papers was wounded in head at Bull Run - not able to do any thing. - Lieut Geo J.
