Dear Sir. As the council sit next week, I wish to repeat, that the Register of Probate in this county had better remain for the present. His continuance will have a tendency to keep all things quiet.
The appointments of clerk and sheriff are much to be desired & I pray [one underlined] they may not be delayed. Chandler, I understand, has [one struck through] is getting up petitions for himself in every part of
