I hardly suppose there is a family in our city that has better bread uniformly than bread I eat at the hospital. I think there was always enough. When I first became acquainted there I used to go out and see him feed the swine, and there were large quantities of olden bread carried out and I thought it was rather extravagant. I spoke to Dr. Harlow about it. I thought there was some wasted and the Dr. said that you could not feed them as you could feed at private boarding houses, he said if he did not give them all they would eat and have something |
