Dear Husband

I seat myself to answer your kind letter received last monday and should have answered

it before but have not had 

time Mrs Folsom has ben in trouble and I have ben there considerable She has lost her oldest daughter she died last monday with the lung fever

 Charlie has ben very sick but is 

better now its very sickly here The wether is verry fine but the passing poor There is nothing new going on here The war news is quiet now and for my part the war is no nearer bein setled then it was two years ago
