Dear Sir,
I came out in the 2nd Regt. Maine Vols. Col. G Varney, and about 4 months before the expiration of the Regts. time I was Court Martialed for a slight breach of Military Discipline and sentenced for the remainder of my term of enlistment. My Regt. was mustered out of the U. S Service on the 28th of last May, and accor-
