Met according to adjournment - Journal read.

Samuel Thatcher of Warren, appeared, was qualified and took his seat as a Representative from said town.
[Report of committee to invite Chaplains &c]
The committee to wait on the several ordained Ministers of the Gospel in this town & request their attendance as Chaplains - reported that the Reverend gentlemen would perform the duties requested of them - report accepted.
[Bill - executions levied by mistake]
Bill - providing a method for doing justice, when thro' mistake, executions are levied upon real estate not belonging to the debtors, was reported with amendments at A & B which were adopted - & the Bill was then read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
[Bill - taking depositions]
Bill entitled an additional act prescribing the mode of taking depositions, was reported by the committee appointed on that subject - read 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a third reading.

Message from the Senate by Mr. Smith their Secretary.
"Mr Speaker
The Senate propose a convention of both branches of the Legislature at 11 o'clock tomorrow, in the Representatives chamber for the purpose of electing a Treasurer for the State." The House concurred and the Clerk was charged with a message to acquaint the Senate therewith.
