Resolve in favor Jonathan Nelson, was refused a passage in the Senate & sent down for concurrence. The House referred the subject to the next Legislature & sent up the same for concurrence.

Petition of Cotton B Brooks that authority may be given him to present at this time certain claims he has against the estate of Mr - Jerks to the Judge of Probate of Cumberland County with directors to him to consider the same - was read & referred to the committee on new trials. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send down the papers in their possession relative to the County Lincoln read & passed.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Portland Stage Company was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
