She was carried to a private asylum in Mass. one day, and spent one night, taken out the next day because I was dissatisfied with the asylum. Ques. Was the expense considerable greater there than in a public asylum. Ans. Yes sir. I was dissatisfied with it, from the manner in which I found here the next morning. Ques. There were higher prices to be paid, from which you would naturally expect better treatment, still you decided to move her to a public asylum to this one here. Ans. Yes sir. Ques.
