[Notice to be given Counsellors &c]
An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to notify Daniel Wood, William Chadwick James McLellan, Abraham Morrill, Daniel Merrill, Joseph Lock and John Balkam Esqr that they have been duly elected by both branches of the Legislature, Counsellors to advise the Governor in the Executive part of the Government the current year, and request their immediate attendance - and the House concurred.
[Committee - Pauperism]
Ordered that Messrs Cobb, McIntire, Burgin, White of Monmouth & Dunn of Poland be a committee to take into consideration the subject of Pauperism generally with leave to report by Bill or otherwise. read & passed.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing a joint standing committee of both Houses to be denominated the committee on the militia & military affairs - and the House concurred.

Petition of James Hall & als of Matinicus that the lands on said Island may be disposed of to them at a low rate for certain reasons given - was read & referred to Messrs Ruggles, Clark & Golding.
