Mr Brown of Waldoboro' moved a reconsideration of the vote of yesterday, postponing to the next Legislature the Bill respecting the fisheries in St George's River - and the motion was lost 49 pro. 59 con.

[Petition - Jacob Quincy & als]

A message was received from the Senate requesting the papers relating to the application of Jacob Quincy & als for a Bank in Portland presented at the last session & now on the files of the House - The House concurred & the papers were sent up.
