Ordered that all the papers now in possession of the House on the subject of the application of Phillip Morrell [Morrill] & others for a new County to be formed of several towns in the Counties of Hancock, Lincoln & Kennebec - also the petitions of Camden, Knox, Swanville, Northport, Brooks, Prospect, Waldo Plantation & Searsmont for the same object - also the petition of George Stevens & others for a division of the County of Hancock together will all others papers relative thereto be referred to a special committee of this House with authority to send for persons & papers - read & passed - & Messrs Isaac Adams, Dane & Williams were appointed said committee.
