Dear Sir,
Capt F Meinicke, Company H, having resigned and being honorably discharged from the service I would respectfully recommend the following promotions vis [viz]
For Captain – 1st Lieut Augustus B Farnham
For 1st Lieut – 2nd Lieut. Frank H. Garnsey
For 2nd Lieut – Sergeant Horatio Staples
The above are all good officers, besides being exceedingly popular generally.
