The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed - Bill establishing the salaries of the Judge & Register of Probate for the County of Waldo - which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.
On motion of Mr Adams of Portland, Ordered that the committee on Banks & Banking be instructed to consider and report what further measures, if any, this Legislature ought to take in relation to the Vassalboro' Bank, and also to consider the expediency of restraining by law Banks from transacting the ordinary business of the Bank at any place other than that at which the bank is eastablished - read & passed.
