Leave to withdraw was ordered in concurrence with the Senate on the petition of the Inh. of the town of Albany " & on petition of the town of Surry.

The Committee to whom was referred the returns of votes in the several towns & plantations, given in agreeably to the provisions of the Resolve of March 7th 1834 entitled a Resolve proposing an amendment to the Constitution of this State - reported the whole number of votes to be 12463 of which 417 were rejected for reasons given - leaving 12046 to be counted of which the number 8407 were in favor of the amendment and 3639 opposed to the same - and that the proposed amendment had accordingly been adopted & now forms a part of the Constitution of this State. Report accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Leave to withdraw was ordered on petition of William Wentworth - Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - An additional Act to establish the Bucksport and Prospect Ferry Company was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of Ebenezer Sawyer & others came from the Senate recommitted to the Committee on incorporation of towns for concurrence & the House concurred

Petitions of the Maine Baptist Missionary Society praying for authority to call a legal meeting of the Corporation - also

- of Daniel Williams in behalf of the Augusta and Bangor Stage Company for authority to hold a larger amount of property than by law they are now permitted to hold  - were severally read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.
