Ordered, on motion of Mr. Farnham, that a Committee of three be appointed to prepare Rules and Orders to be observed in the Senate during the present political year; and Messrs. Farnham, Burnham and Brown were appointed said Committee.

Ordered, on motion of Mr. Randall, that when the Senate adjourn, they adjourn to meet again at ten o'clock tomorrow morning.

On motion of Mr. Clark, ordered, that Messrs. Clark, Smith, Barnard, Prescott, and Chandler be a Committee, with such as the House may join to examine the returns of votes for Governor for the current political year, and report thereon.
