An Order directing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of altering or repealing an Act entitled an Act for the abolition of the imprisonment of honest debtors for debt passed March 1831 was read and passed in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate sent up

The Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed Bill to incorporate the Hallowell Harmonic Society -additional to an act to incorporate the Portland Mutual Fire Insurance Company which were severally passed to be enacted sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

The same Committee Reports as duly engrossed Resolve in favour of Elliot G. Vaughan which was finally passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

An Order directing the Joint Select Committee on the alteration of Laws regulating the education of youth be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a Law requireing [requiring] the inhabitants of school Districts when a part of their District shall be set off by a vote of the town to pay over to those persons so set off their proportion of Lands Buildings and money belonging to said District which was read and passed in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate
