An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Bradbury Groton and Knowlton with such as the House may join a Committee to consider the expediency of so amending the first section third part of the fourth article of the constitution which provides that the Legislature shall convene on the first Wednesday of January Annually that said Legislature shall convene on the second or third Wednesday in August annually and of passing a Resolve impowering and directing the Selectmen of the several towns and assessors of the several plantations to notify the Inhabitants thereof
