On motion of Mr. Jarvis of Buckfield
 
Ordered that the Committee on Literary Institutions be instructed to require of every Literary Institution requesting aid of this Legislature to render to the Committee an account on the present state of funds and the manner of investment - the amount of all donations from the State and the manner in which they have been expended to report the same to this Legislature that they may be better enabled to decide upon the merits of their claims - Read and passed - Sent up for concurrence.
 
  
On motion of Mr. Bronson of Anson, the House reconsider their vote of yesterday whereby they accepted in concurrence with the Senate Report on Petition of True W. Dore and the Clerk informed the Senate thereof requesting concurrence and that they would return the same to this House

An order relating to the removal of the deposits from the United State Bank came from the Senate for concurrence which passed this House on the 18th instant the Senate having amended the same as on sheets annexed marked A the House so far recede from their vote as to adopt the amendments of the Senate and pass the same as thus amended in concurrence with the Senate - sent up.
