Bronson of Anson Hastings of Robbinston and Shaw of Sanford were appointed a Committee to receive sort and count the votes therefor who having attended to that duty report that the whole number of votes given in was One Hundred and Fourteen necessary to constitute an Election fifty Eight Ezekiel Foster has seventy eight votes and was declared elected and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate thereof

On Motion of Mr. Mildram of Wells Ordered that Messrs. Mildram of Wells Moore of Dover Judkins of Hodgdon Robinson of Bethel and Bradbury of Saco be a committee with such as the Senate may join to enquire into the expediency of repealing so much of an Act entitled An Act to establish a Medical School in this State passed June 27th 1820 and give said School one Thousand Dollars annually during the pleasure of the Legislature with leave to report by Bill or otherwise Read and passed sent up for concurrance [concurrence]

Bill additional respecting the attachment of property on Mesne process and directing the issuing extending and serving executions - was read once and Ordered to lie on the table and 400 copies thereof ordered to be printed

Resolve in favour of Zadock Bishop and others was read once and tommorow [tomorrow] at ten o clk assigned for a second reading
