An order came from the Senate instructing the committee on the Judiciary to inquire if further legislation is necessary for the better security of Creditors to Insolvent Estates, and the House concurred.
Resolve in favor of Prentiss Mellen was read once assigned for a 2nd reading on Tuesday next, and referred to the committee on Finance.
Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Exchange Bank, was read a 3rd time and ordered to lie on the table. and until Friday next at 10 oclock
Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of Greenleafs Reports, was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the State.
