On motion of Mr Swift, Ordered, that the Joint Standing Committee on Manufactures be requested to inquire into the expediency of so altering the Law relative to the inspection of Pot and Pearl -ashes as to add another sort to the quality of Pearl ash by designating the purest and best First sort extra; also as to the Inspector's fees so as to make the law
