Thursday, February 5, 1835

On motion of Mr. Greene of Somerset, Ordered, that the Committee on State Lands be instructed to inquire into the expediency of appropriating a sum of money to make the road laid out by Silas Barnard Esq. leading from Weeks' Mills in Brighton to Moosehead Lake; provided that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will appropriate the sum of [blank] and individuals, the sum of [blank] for the accomplishment of said object read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Emmons. Ordered that the petition of Henry Bickford, praying for a pension with the accompanying papers be taken from the files of the Senate of 1832 and be referred to the Committee on Military Pensions -- read and passed.

On motion of Mr. Greene of York, Ordered that the petition of Ira Crocker and others, with accompanying documents, be taken from the files of the Senate of 1833 and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns -- read and passed and said petition, with the accompanying documents, praying that a part of the towns of Bridgeton and Harrison my be incorporated into a new town, was according taken taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Henry Bickford for a pension was taken from the files of the Senate and with the accompanying documents referred to the Committee on Military Pensions. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
