Remonstrance of Jonathan Combs Jr. and others against the Vassalborough and Sidney Mill Dam -- read and referred to the Committee on Interior Waters, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Machias Bank, on motion of Mr. Jarvis, was taken up and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill establishing the Salary of the Attorney General was read twice. The Senate nonconcur the House in refusing said Bill a passage and amend the same and pass said Bill to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

The Committee on Engrossed Bill reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve laying a tax on the several Counties in this State and the same on motion of Mr. Clark, was committed to a Select Committee of the Senate, consisting of Messrs. Clark, Robinson and Merrow.
