�21 Lewiston Aug 16th/62 DrSir I have to day found Levi J. Robinson a private of Capt [t underlined] O. Neil W. Robinson's CO 4th Maine Batery who was discharged on the 15th day of July 1862 by reason of bleeding at the Lungs - discharge was given by W.F. Hutchinson assist Surgeon U.S.A. and approved by Brig Genl [l underlined] - Paid in full by H.P. Andrews Paymaster U.S.A.

I have also found to day Benjamin H. Pease a Seargeant of Capt [t underlined] Daggetts Co. E. 5th Maine Regiment of Infantry Vols who was discharged on the 20th day February 1862 at Alexandria Va by reason of a chronic complaint - Discharge given by N.J. Jackson Col. Com. Regiment - Paid in full by D. McClone Paymaster U.S.A.
