I don't think there is any use of takeup the work we did up with Bell. I think as I look back on it we were too much gluttons for work, and too little for publicity. I guess we'll have to let it go as it is. Those who urn in the work know what our work was. I think the people in our State know too. John B. Usher and "some fellow" like that couldn't see anything beyond Boston. Goodman U.S.R. knows what we did. How he will report it when he goes back to Governor's Island, I don't know.
