Sir Allow me to call your attention to my letter of March 6th relating to a Lieut. Commission for Richard Tibbetts of the Second Maine Regiment Mr Tibbetts would make a good [underlined] officer and if there is any way that you can do anything for him, I should be very glad to have you do so.
