By the new arrangement & organization of the 8. Division, the numerical order of several Regiments being changed, the present denominations of some of them are different from those expressed in the Commissions of the Captains and Subalterns issued prior to such new ar rangement, although the powers, authority, local bounds and jurisdiction of those Officers actually remain the same:
