[Counsellor Whitney] [proposition for a convention to qualify him.] Mr Moody came with a message from the Senate, proposing a convention of the two houses at 10 oclock this day, for the purpose of qualifying William C Whitney Esqr as a Counsellor to advise the Governor in the Executive part of government.

[agreed to.] Mr Delano is requested to inform the Senate of the concurrence of this House in their proposition.
