There is nothing in the name as I see it to indicate a narrow or steep [two inserted] passage, and there is nothing of the sort at Quittacas.

I see it is the [?] off shore of [?] that bothers[?] you. I don't see that it comes in[?]. The place [?] where . is[?] going up + down the coast. They passed this very[?] [?] island- as I see it, that is.

I see it is the distance off shore of Monhegan that bothers you. I don't see that it comes in. The place was where, in going up & down the coast, they passed this very notable island - as I see it, that is.
