[Bill - salaries of Judge of Probate]

Bill in addition to the act, establishing the Salaries of the Judges of Probate, which passed this House in the 11th inst, came from the Senate amended for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Report - Hosea Rich]

Report on petition of Hosea Rich & others to be incorporated into a society by the name of the Penobscot Medical Society, granting an order of notice, came from the Senate for concurrence - The House nonconcurred & comitted [committed] the same to Messrs Ingalls Sweat & Brown.

[Report Fred. Howard]

Report on petition of Frederic Howard & another, came from from the Senate referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & canals for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Report - Appeals]

The committee on the order to consider what alterations are necessary in the laws regulating appeals - reported that it is inexpedient to take any further order on the subject - The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence and the House concurred.

[Bill - S. West Bend Bridge]

Bill additional for the security of the S. West bend bridge, was read 1st & 2d time & tuesday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Report John Spring & als]

Report on the petition of John Spring & others to be incorporated for the purpose of driving logs &c, granting an order of notice came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House nonconcurred & recommitted the papers. Sent up for concurrence

Ordered that a message be sent to the Governor & Council requesting them to return to this House the Bill respecting public shows, if not approved - The Bill was accordingly sent down and the votes passing it to be enacted and also to be engrossed severally reconsidered, and then referred to Messrs Isaac Adams, Merrill of G. & Batchelder.
