There are a large number of general officers quartered near our tent, as near as I can learn the Regt. will move from here in the course of two or three weeks, unless we should before that time have a general battle. The Troops in this vicinity are in good spirits and good condition, and not only ready but eager for a fight, wishing to settle up that account commenced at Battle of Bull Run. Please let me know if you have any information as to the probability of Dr. A’s returning. |
