To your question whether the Highway Taxes could not be worked out for less than the amount, I answer that as you send the money so promptly, I will do it twenty per cent discount. --

We have had two additional Highway Taxes to raise since I wrote you last, of which Mr Erwins part is 49 ct + 2.38 cents + we have abated an additional school tax -- therefore the account of taxes for his this year now stands thus --
