that name in the State; from the town of Phipsburgh in the County of Lincoln; and Sangerville in the County of Penobscot, because it did not appear by the returns in what towns the votes were given; from the town of Wayne in the County of Kennebec, and Plantation of Howards Gore in the County of Oxford, the lists not having been returned to the office of the Secretary of State within the time prescribed by the Constitution; from the town of Maxfield in the County of Penobscot, the year in which the meeting was holden being omitted; from Fryeburg Addition in the County of Oxford, the Certificate not being signed by the Assessors; and from Plantation No. one in the same County, because it does not appear that the Votes were declared in open town meeting.
The Committee further report that six Votes in the list of Votes from the town of Calais in the County of Washington; two Votes in that of Vienna in the County of Kennebec, and one Vote in that of Kilmarnock in the County of Penobscot, having been inserted in the respective Lists as Scattering Votes without the name of any person for whom given, were not counted. And that they do not find any returns from the towns of Hope in the County of Lincoln and Pittsfield in the County of Somerset. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence and came up concurred.
