[Resolves respecting an action against Trustees of Mariners Church & al] Mr. Phelps from the Committee on the State Prison &c. on the petition of the Trustees of the Mariners Church reported Resolve directing an action against the Trustees of the Mariners Church and the same was read and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence, on motion by Mr. Gardner, 300 copies of the communication made by Doct' Rose late Warden of the State Prison were ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

[Bill regulating Judicial process & proceedings] Mr. Kingsbury had leave to lay on the table. Bill additional to an Act regulating Judicial process and proceedings and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 assigned for a second reading.

[Report Legislation inexpedient] Mr. Kingsbury from the Com. on the Judiciary on order of February 16th directing the Committee to inquire into the expediency of amending the Law relating to bail in civil cases and imprisonment on mesne process reported that legislation is inexpedient. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence.

[leave to withdraw on Pet. of a Nathaniel Smith & als] Mr. Gardner from the Com. on Incorporation of towns reported leave to withdraw on the petition of Nathaniel Smith & al. Read and accepted Sent down for concurrence.
