I write to inform you of the death of Augustus M. Hutchins of my company. He died at our regimental hospital of congestion of the lungs on the morning of the 16th inst. he was last paid by Paymaster Robie up to the 30th of Augusta and has pay due him from that date. He was 19 years of age and was a resident of East New Portland State of Maine. There is nothing due the company from him.
