On motion by Vickery of Baring,

Ordered, that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire if any and what alterations are necessary in the laws relating to foreign attachment. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr Holmes of Alfred,

Ordered that the Committee on Literary Institutions be instructed to enquire into the expediency of making a grant in money or lands to Alfred Academy. Sent up for concurrence.
