On motion by Mr Goodwin of South Berwick.
Ordered that the committee on Literary Institution into consideration the necessity and expediency of making a grant of money or lands to South Berwick Academy. Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve authorizing temporary loans on behalf of the State, laid on the table by Mr Steward of Anson, was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading & then recommitted.
