Order from the House of Representatives, appointing a joint select committee of one from each bounty on the part of the House consisting of Messrs, potter, McIntyre, Soule, rolling,  Noyes, Lippincott, McMillan, Cole, Adams and Boardman with such as the senate may join, to inquire into the expediency of so altering the law. relative to criminal prosecutions as that each bounty shall pay the costs arising in such prosecutions at the terms of the Judicial courts in each county. Also that the respective counties shall be entitled to receive and retain to their own use all fines. Forfeitures and costs accruing in criminal prosecutions within said counties. The senate nonconcure with the house in their refer the same to the committee on the judiciary.
