A communication was receive from the Governor [see appendix page 354] transmitting a letter from Hon Ether Shepley enclosing a communication from the Secretary of War in relation to the application of this State for a survey of a rout for a Rail Road from some point on the seaboard to the Canada Borders - read and sent up.
