Order from the House of Representatives appointing Messrs, Dumont of Hallowell, Boyd of Harmony and Humphrey of Gray a Committee, with such as the Senate may join, to which shall be submitted all the Acts and Resolves which shall be passed by this Legislature, whose duty it shall be to designate what are public and what are private, and certify the same to the Secretary of State - read and, on motion of Mr Emmons, ordered to lie on the table.

Petition of John Burnham and others for the repeal of the Act relative to the lock sluice through the dam belonging to the "Eastern River Lock & Sluice Company at the mills on said river in Orland, passed Feb. 23, 1825, came up -- The House nonconcur the Senate in their reference of said petition and insist [underlined] on their vote of the 27th inst. in referring the same to the Committee on Interior Fisheries - read, and on motion of Mr Emmons, ordered to lie on the table.
