329. Bill regulating the attachment on real estate, was read once. The Senate adopt the amendments proposed by the House, and refer the same to next Legislature, in concurrence.

Bill in addition to an Act to regulate the survey of Lumber in the County of Penobscot, came up --- the House, insisting on their former vote, propose a Conference and appoint as Conferees, on their part, Messrs. Emery of Hampden, Jarvis of Ellsworth and Gordon of Belfast. The Senate insist on their vote of the 18th instant passing the same to be engrossed as amended on sheet marked H, and concur in the proposition for a Conference and appoint as Conferees, on their part, Messrs. Fish, McLellan and Miller.

Bill creating a Corporation for the purpose of constructing a Turnpike road in the town of Calais, came up -- the House adhering to their former vote passing the same to be engrossed. The Senate adhere to their vote refusing the same a passage.

Bill in addition to an Act relating to the settlement and support of the Poor, came up from the House amended and referred to the next Legislature and ordered to be published in all the papers of the State which publish the laws -- read once and referred, in concurrence.

Mr. Latham, from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred the Governor's Message of the twentieth instant in relation to the report of Sewall Prescott, Agent of the Canada Road, also the account of said Prescott for services and expenses, as Agent on said Road, reported that they had authorized the Committee on Finance
