349. Resolve respecting the Indians was taken up and the same, on motion of Mr. Smith, was indefinitely postponed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Resolves additional respecting the North Eastern Boundary, on motion of Mr. Emmons were taken up. Mr. Greene of York moved that the further consideration of the same be postponed till the first Monday of May of next, and the question of thus postponing, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Bartlett, Brown, Burnham, Clark, Fish, F. Greene, Latham, Mantor, Miller, McIntire, Pierce, Purinton, Smith and Tobin, 15. Nays. Messrs. Barnard, Emmons, Farnham, McLellan, Prescott, Randall and Read, 7.

On motion of Mr. Clark, Ordered, that Messrs. Clark, Emmons and Fish, with such as the House may join, be a Committee to wait on the Governor and inform him that the two Houses have passed upon all the public business before them and are ready to adjourn without day, and inquire if he has any further communication to make to them --- read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred, and Messrs. Dumont of Hallowell, Woodbury of Minot, Gordon of Belfast, Ludwig of Waldoborough and Vickery of Baring are joined.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed. Resolve on the Pay Roll of the Senate, " on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives, and the same were severally finally passed.
