Bill prohibiting the emissions and circulation of Bank Bills of the small denomination and certain other was taken up,; -- and the question of adopting the amendment proposed yesterday by Mr. Merrow to strike out in the first section the words, "Passage of this Act." and insent in lieu there of the words, first day of June next, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit
